Lets turn the clock back to the fall of 99′ (the birth of Hands On). Three musicians not in it just to make music but magic. The shows evoled the next few months with signs of greatness. Each show was more outlandish than the last. By the turn of the New Year Hands On had a vision of bringing back rockshows the way they were once played. There first album No Compromise was written & recorded earlier that year. This was the push the band needed to take it to the next level. The album contained instant concert classics such as Put Your Hands On This, Best Of Times, and 14 Days. That year also saw the release of the website www.handsonband.com. Over the course of the next two years the band continued writting, recording, and playing shows. Mt.Funkmore the 2nd Cd saw the band reach and record in the bands own studio. The band called the album a STEPPING STONE of what would be.What would be was Hands On III/Thing for Me.

This album breaks all the rules in terms of sound and concept. It began in 2003 and was completed in 2008. A concept album if you will it shows the deep and epic vision of HANDS ON.”We stepped away from the party and made a statement”Clayton says. The tracks Smile,Thing for me and Star have all made the live set.Find Your Way however was demoed in the 03 sessions but not complete till 07 when Dave saw the track to an end.”We spent more time on FIND YOUR WAY than we spent on the whole first album” Dave adds.So what about the future? Well new tracks are already being crafted including the new single CURSE YOU BABY which saw its live debut 2/1/08 and that is very noteworthy. The first new track in nearly 5 years! Judging by the crowd reaction it seems the boys will keep pushing the train down the line with fresh and powerful music for the next album and pleasing the masses in the process.LONG HAIR sees itself as the next fresh HOB track and the band raises a glass to the classic sound of the band with a extra dash of new soul.Live For the Now is not only the new tour name but yet another track for the EPIC IV album.Over the Hill and Come With Me are now instant live classics(due to heavy rotation)and the reaction of wanting to bring new tracks to the live setting! Stay tuned for more Hands On news!!August 2008 the band has uploaded Hands On Live!!! a free podcasting site.. www.handsonlive.mypodcast.com
